Jamshedpur Is All Decked Up To Celebrate The Birth Anniversary Of Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata

Jamshedpur is all decked up to celebrate the 181st birth anniversary of its founder, Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata on 3rd March. Each year, the steel city shines in the glory of its founder with colorful lights.

The entire Jubilee park is decorated with illuminations which will be kept open for public viewing from 3rd March to 5th March. The theme for 2020, the 181st Founder’s Day is Future Ready – Connected. Agile. Sustainable.

The list of various activities that have been organized by Tata Steel Ltd along with the other group of companies are

  • 12th Technical Exhibition – Techex, 2020 at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute
  • Illumination at Jubilee Park
  • Laser Show and Dancing Fountain Show at Jubilee Park
  • Jubilee Park Exhibition
  • Founder’s Day Celebrations in Jamshedpur Works
  • Founder’s Day Pageantry in Postal Park, Bistupur
  • Founder’s Day Sports in Gopal Maidam

A special show of Laser and Dancing Fountain has also been organized this year for the celebration. Along with Jubilee Park, illumination is also organized at Bhatia Park, Nildih Park, and Sir Dorabji Tata Park.

The Jubilee Park illumination was inaugurated by Mr. Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus, Tata Sons and Mr. N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons on March 2, 2020, at 6:30 PM. The 12th Technical Exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. T V Narendran, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel on March 2, 2020, at 2:30 PM.
