Indian Railways Cancels All Regular Trains Till August 12 As Covid-19 Cases Increase

The Indian Railways has decided to extend the suspension of the regular timetabled passenger trains, including mail express, passenger, and suburban services till August 12 from June 30.

However, the COVID-19 special passenger trains including the 200 mail express trains and 30 Rajdhani trains that the railways have decided to operate between May 12 and June 1 will continue to run.

The limited special suburban services which were recently started in Mumbai to ferry essential services personnel identified by the local authorities would also continue to operate.

All the tickets booked for the regular timetabled trains between July 1 to August 12 stands canceled and full fares will be refunded.
